Life's but a poor player/fool that struts and frest his hour and then is heard no more

There's little doubt in the way I read shakespeare that he valued fools most of all roleplayers . To be or not to be, that is the question - but why?

Did he mean that the groupthink of powerful courts always needed a fool to keep neq questions coming in (to make innovation fun rather than claiming we know it all). Do we have a big government anywhere in the world that includes a fool in its cabinet or whote house?

Did he mean that oddly a fool's job in seeing truth further ahead? To keep pushing the envelope until one day he's too foolish for the leaders who pay his way? Does that eman the greatest fools will always be devalued by history's writings even if they catalysed chnages that saved civilisations?

Does this explain why a country can never afford a gun culture? Think of how many of America's leaders who pushed the envelope furthest were gunned down? (OK I am biassed, I just don't get a nation that invests 10% of its people's money in arms or even %% or 1% in the networked www I wish we could all map. Maybe I am just too foolish for words, but I do wish Shakespeare was in the jury to judge on that one.
